We’re proud to be making a positive contribution to the planet, whilst helping people to stay hydrated and healthy.

What are EC ECOLOGY bottles made from?

EC ECOLOGY bottles are made from food 304 high-grade stainless steel. The lid is made from stainless steel, minimal plastic and a silicon o-ring. Our bottle tubes are made from 100% recycled card.

How safe are EC ECOLOGY bottles?

EC ECOLOGY bottles are extremely safe and conform to the highest UK and international safety standards.

Our manufacturer is independently audited to recognised international standards. It holds accreditations in quality management, environmental management, and health and safety management.

We personally visit our manufacturers to ensure they operate ethically, to the highest standards, and utilise the latest technology.

All EC ECOLOGY bottles are certified BPA free, and our manufacturer holds IS09000 and 18000 accreditations.

Are EC ECOLOGY bottles BPA free?

Yes, all EC ECOLOGY bottles are BPA free and non toxic.

Where are EC ECOLOGY bottles made?

EC ECOLOGY is a UK company and our products are manufactured in China.

Do EC ECOLOGY bottles keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot?

Yes, EC ECOLOGY bottles are made with a double-wall vacuum system that keeps cold drinks cold for 24 hours, and hot drinks hot for 12 hours.

Temperature retention will depend on how often the bottle is opened.

To keep your drink hot for 12 hours we recommend filling your bottle first with boiling water to heat the inside, before emptying the boiling water and filling the bottle with your preferred drink.

Does the temperature of the outside of the bottle change when filled with hot or cold drinks?

No, the outside surface temperature of the bottle will remain at ambient levels when filled with hot or cold substances.This is due to the bottle’s double-wall vacuum system.

Yes, EC ECOLOGY bottles are extremely durable as they are made from high-grade stainless steel, both on the inside and outside.

No, EC ECOLOGY bottles don’t rust as they are made from high-grade stainless steel, both on the inside and outside.

Do EC ECOLOGY bottles contain glass?

No, EC ECOLOGY are not made from glass and do not contain any glass. Are EC

ECOLOGY bottles leak-proof?

Yes, EC ECOLOGY bottles have an air-tight lid and a silicone o’ring system, which prevents any leakage.

CARING FOR YOUR BOTTLE

Can I put my EC ECOLOGY bottle in the dishwasher?

No, EC ECOLOGY bottles are not suitable for dishwashers, and doing so may cause damage to the bottle’s paint and vacuum system.

To keep your bottle nice and clean we recommend using hot, soapy water to clean it after each use. For a very thorough clean, use bicarbonate soda.

Can I put my EC ECOLOGY bottle in the microwave?

No, EC ECOLOGY bottles must not be put in the microwave.

Can I put fizzy / sparkling / carbonated drinks in my bottle?

Yes, you can. EC ECOLOGY bottles have an airtight lid, ensuring your drinks are kept fizzy. However, this does depend on how often the bottle is opened.

If your bottle contains a fizzy drink, please take care when opening the lid, as pressure may have built up which may cause the lid to pop off.

After use we recommend thoroughly cleaning your bottle with hot, soapy water. Additional cleaning can be undertaken using bicarbonate soda.

When you’re not using your EC ECOLOGY bottle, we recommend storing it without the cap on to allow the inside to dry out.

Can I put alcohol in my EC ECOLOGY bottle?

Yes, you can. EC ECOLOGY bottle will keep your favourite tipples nice and cold.

After use we recommend thoroughly cleaning your bottle with hot, soapy water. Additional cleaning can be undertaken using bicarbonate soda.

How do I clean my EC ECOLOGY bottle?

To keep your bottle nice and clean we recommend using hot, soapy water to clean it after each use. For a very thorough clean use bicarbonate soda.
